LAST DAY TO BRING SOUP for the 2012 Souper Bowl of Hope. Thank you St. John’s for the cans of soup brought to the church and for the money to purchase cans of soup. Total money & cans of soup – Yield 643 cans.

ALTAR GUILD BRUNCH – will be held on Saturday, February 11^th, 9:30 am in Lantz Hall. This is for anyone that has worked with the Altar Guild this past year or this coming year.

FEBRUARY 25 - HAND BELL CHOIR CONCERT HERE!  St. John’s will be hosting a Hand Bell Choir from William Jewell College, Kansas City, MO on Saturday, Feb. 25^th, 7:30 pm here at the church. If you can provide housing for choir members, please email Dea Oellien at bodansky@sbcglobal.net.

REDEEMER CONCERT SERIES – Redeemer Lutheran Church will host the Kansas State University Brass Ensemble on Sunday, Feb. 12^th, 4:00 pm.

GESKE FAMILY FUND has been set up to help the Geske family. If you wish to donate, send your donations to Christ the King Lutheran Church, 111 W. Magnolia. Mrs. Laura Geske and 2 of their children were killed in a car accident Jan. 28^th. Rev. Jeffrey Geske and his son Jacob survived.

LENT BEGINS with Ash Wednesday services February 22^nd.

ANNUAL CHURCH SKATING PARTY will be held at the Starlite Skating Rink on Sunday, February 26, 4:45 – 6:15 pm. Cost is $4.00 per person.

KANSAS WESLEYAN CHOIR will be here to sing for us on Sunday, Feb. 19^th.
